Philadelphia-Based Composer, Sound Designer, Producer, and Educator Specializing in Game Audio and Digital Music Production

James Sauppe is a composer, producer, and educator based in Philadelphia, specializing in game audio, sound design, and digital music production. Currently, he teaches in the Sound Recording and Music Technology program at the Community College of Philadelphia, where he co-authored the Game Audio Proficiency Certificate to prepare students for careers in the evolving field of game audio.

James is currently the Music Editor and Composer for the upcoming video game, Bugs N’ Boo Hags. Independently, as a composer and multi-instrumentalist, he creates music under the moniker
RVLVR , blending innovative sound design with emotional storytelling. James also owns Montco Music Inc., a private music school in Montgomery County, where he offers personalized music lessons in-person and online.

James’s work merges a deep understanding of music composition with the technical skill of sound design, and he is passionate about helping students and clients unlock their creative potential by utilizing music and audio to complement storytelling.
